These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Alpha Hippo. By using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Nature of the Service (Research & Analytics Software)

Alpha Hippo provides research and analytics software that may display strategy views, model states (including Enter and Exit labels), cross-sectional metrics, and related educational materials. Content is provided for informational and educational purposes only and is not tailored to your individual circumstances.

Alpha Hippo does not provide personalized investment advice, brokerage services, or trade execution. Nothing on the platform should be interpreted as a recommendation, solicitation, or instruction to buy, sell, or hold any security. Enter or Exit labels reflect model output for your own review; you are solely responsible for how you interpret or use that information.

Alpha Hippo sells access to software (a digital subscription) for analytics and education. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, bank, or money transmitter.

3. No Guarantee of Results

Markets are volatile and outcomes are uncertain. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions, risk management, and any gains or losses resulting from those decisions.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the platform lawfully and in good faith.
• Keep account credentials confidential.
• Not misuse, reverse engineer, or disrupt the platform and its infrastructure.
• Verify information independently before making financial decisions.

5. Intellectual Property

Unless stated otherwise, all content, branding, software, and materials on Alpha Hippo are owned by Alpha Hippo or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alpha Hippo and its owners, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, business, goodwill, or other economic loss, arising from or related to use of the platform or inability to use the platform.

Without limiting the foregoing, you expressly agree that Alpha Hippo is not liable for any trading losses, investment losses, lost opportunity, taxes, or any direct financial loss arising from (a) your reliance on any information, metrics, rankings, labels (including Enter or Exit), alerts, or digests shown on or sent from the platform; (b) your decisions to buy, sell, or hold any security or other asset; or (c) your failure to conduct independent due diligence or to seek advice from a qualified professional. Your use of the platform and any trading or investment activity is at your sole risk.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Third-Party Services

Alpha Hippo may integrate with third-party services (such as authentication, analytics, or payment processors like Stripe). Your use of those services may be subject to their separate terms and privacy policies.
